We provide an iOS app, Android app, and Progressive Web App (PWA) version of our mushroom foraging helper app, which includes useful map tools and data designed to assist users in their foraging activities. Third-Party Services
We use a third-party service, Clerk.com, to manage user authentication. Clerk.com securely handles authentication data, such as your login credentials, and ensures a smooth sign-in experience across all platforms.
We use Google Analytics for usage analytics; no personally identifiable information is collected
We use GoHighLevel for email and SMS communication with users. GoHighLevel collects names, emails, phones, IPs, website usage, form submission etc and other personal information for purposes of marketing and communication.
We use OneSignal for in-app and push notifications.

We intentionally collect and store data that users intentionally save in their accounts, and store those for the exclusive use by our users. They are not shared with any other users or entities. Specifically:- Markers: Markers are stored with GPS coordinates, timestamps descriptions and photos. They are only available to the user unless the user chooses to share them
- Tracks: Tracks are stored with GPS coordinates, timestamps, descriptions and photos. They are only available to the user unless the user chooses to share them
Location and Map Data
Our app provides useful map tools designed to enhance your foraging experience. No user location data is stored or retained. The app processes your location only temporarily to provide real-time features, such as navigation or map-based tools. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or stored elsewhere.
Users may choose to store their markers or tracks, organized by categories and folders within their account. This data remains on the device and is stored on our servers as part of your user account
Use of Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain our Service.
- Allow you to log in securely using Clerk.com.
- Improve app performance and troubleshoot issues.
Data Retention
- Personal Data: Retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service.
- Usage Data: Retained for internal analysis and performance improvements.

We employ commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
